My Personality

I live life like I love it, because I do! I am boisterous, animated, and full of energy out in the world. People energize me. But not too many people! I get uncomfortable when people get into a “hive” state- big events (more than a few thousand people), heavy traffic, airports, long lines, stuff like that. I'm willing to do those things but but my guard is definitely up in those situations.

It was my dream as a kid to become a radio DJ, and I got to do that for a decade. I’m still that wise-cracking and witty radio guy. I invent new dad jokes on the regular!

I’m both understanding and cynical; usually curious.

My Myers-Briggs (which has its flaws) varies between ENTP, ENFJ, and ESTP.

And that extroversion is what people usually see, but I do have my reserved side, too.

My feelings take time. I’ve grown good at listening. I respond rather than react. I also enjoy my downtime and alone time.
